And welcome to my new category: “Blogging Lifestyle.”
I had an incredible conversation with some fellow participants of Women 2.0 Startup Weekend (August 28-30, 2009) about the application I helped develop for helping to organize wardrobes and choose what to wear. See, in the modern world, we’re inundated with choice, in everything. We have more clothes than we can wear. Decisions can be difficult.
This is a high quality problem… and one we hope that everyone in the world will face: being at the top of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs… self-actualization… which is precisely the role of fashion! Enough for now, more later.
Now that there’s enough evergreen content on Website In A Weekend now to form the foundation of a truly useful resource for anyone interesting in blogging, and WordPress for blogging in particular, we’re working our way from the “What” to the “Why” now.
And the “Why” is freedom and independence. Carving out your own identity. Being known for who you really are, and helping people at what you know best. That’s my “Why” in any case.
Be delighted you add your “Why” at the bottom… and I have a couple of you in mind (you know who you are)… expect a guest post request after I get back from this year’s burn.
I’m already inundated with a colossal number of ideas just from taking the last week off from writing. I expect I’ll be stupendously creative and productive after I return from Black Rock City.
