Website In A Weekend’s shared hosting server is still under attack. So we’re still pretty slow around here. Let’s keep it short.
Operation Secret Valentine
Last Friday’s Week In Review was to have promoted your last chance to get your Secret Valentine into Kelly Diel’s “Operation Secret Valentine.” As it turns out, you still have a chance! Kelly will add your secret valentine to an updated version of her free little ebook (totally free, no email address required). I don’t know how long she is going to do this, so act now.
Odds and ends
- Happy Chinese New Year! Greetings to all my tiger friends.
- My Akismet plugin is unable to connect to it’s server. You would not believe the amount of comment spam that got through.
Stupid.
The site is too slow to read, to slow for leaving comments, but the spam rolls on in totally unobstructed.
As a result, comments are closed system-wide, on every blog I maintain (5+) from this hosting account. I’ll figure out what to do later. There Will Be A Blog Post.
- Deacon finished his Woodblock 101 series. This means his prices are going to go up a lot within a couple of weeks. I’ll have more information for you shortly on how you can get in before he raises prices. In the meantime, Deacon’s subscribers are still eligible for the materials + shipping cost pricing.
For you MMO types, I’ll write at least one article deconstructing how we cross-promoted.
