WordPress installation and design
This is a total package solution where we take you from “ground zero” to a working website. We’ll work out the exact details before we start, but you should expect:
- Help choosing a hosting company (and domain name if necessary)
- Full WordPress installation
- Suite of necessary plugins to extend WordPress capability
- Optional plugins specifically for your website
- All necessary training you need to operate WordPress independently of any technical gurus. Good news: it’s not that much harder than running Microsoft Word.
- This is a Full Service package. I will ensure you have all the information you need to operate your own website, and be fully independent of programmers and designers.
- Price ranges from $1500 to $1800.
SEO Due Diligence
Did you just get a 30 page proposal to optimize your search engine results? Do you understand what it all means? If not, I’d be happy to help out. I know how to “read between the lines” to extract the most important parts of your proposal. And I can help you determine whether the services offered are a good fit for your needs.
- Full, page-by-page review of your SEO proposal. I’ll explain all of the proposed work in layman’s terms, cutting through the sales hype so you will have a reasonable expectation of the SEO services rendered, and the results you should expect. I’m also happy to succinctly answer specific questions you have concerning your SEO proposal. Let’s discuss these in advance.
- Existing website evaluation for SEO and social media marketing effectiveness. This work builds on your current website. Working with your current web site designer is optimal.
- Highly detailed, 400-600 word answers to 3 specific questions you have concerning your proposal, or SEO in general, to help you understand the fundamentals of SEO. These will fill in any gaps from the page-by-page overview.
- $500.
WordPress-based Social Media marketing
- WordPress-based websites make excellent social media platforms. I will help you determine the extent to which social media promotion is effective for your strategy, and help you implement your strategy in WordPress
- Provide the exact training you need to succeed at building traffic and relationships based around your website. Social media marketing is personality driven, and cannot be completely farmed out. Social media training includes how Twitter works, how blog commenting works, and how forums work. This work can be partially automated, but it requires real people and real engagement as a driver. Mastery requires an initial time investment. Currently, ROI is extremely difficult to measure. However, social media is compelling; it’s only a matter of time until ROI tools are developed.
