Yeah, it won’t stop it, but if you consistently produce new and good content, it won’t matter much. Also, by linking to Google Profile, you now have a way to establish credentials as the author. Someone else claiming credit is even more exposed to take downs. A good thing.

Well. I got it done.
Thanks for the easy to follow steps. It was on my list of things to do and then I found that my content was, “Scattered across the web”… Adding the copyright notice might not stop this, but it should help.

It depends on the designer for the theme,
and you’re free to remove the WordPress
attribution.

Personally, I would avoid themes and
designers requiring a link back. I will link
back as a courtesy, if I want to.

Thanks for valuable information about own copyright placement in blogs.I have a question, is there any WP requirement to retain the word theme by “WordPress” and design by “name of designer” . Can this be removed from the templets. Thanks

I have a hunch that some people becoming very popular very quickly may find themselves trapped in their own game.

I could do more to spike my traffic, or bring in a more rapid influx of readers, but I’m doing pretty well right now, and I’m busy developing content that will keep people hanging around here for a long time.

It’s always funny when I get a comment from someone saying that they have “seen me around” but didn’t know how much I had here on Website In A Weekend.

And since it’s Saturday, I need to take a look at tomorrow’s module for the ecourse. I’m cycling through the whole course, one module per week.

Other people say that I know so much, yet I am still learning new things every day and I feel like I don’t know enough.
