For those of you familiar with “startup culture” or who worship at the altar of the Church of Lean, I’m pivoting business models at the moment.

Which means I’m busy plowing time into Things Other Than Blogging.

But I’m still here. Sort of. Think of me as lurking on my own website.

Lay as low as I might, I still have duties to perform. Updating WordPress to 3.0.4, trying to figure out why CommentLuv reroutes my AJAX request to delete the luv on semi-spam, the usual.

Speaking of spam, I’ve been pestered by that stupid, piss yellow, cross-eyed rabbit pitching dump truck loads of quasi-legal (?) pharmaceuticals. I won’t dignify this pest with either a name or mention of his “products.” I’ll post the gravatar next time I find it my spam queue [got it!]. There’s never just one, Jay Oh En En One is grabbing at least a third, sometimes a half of my spam queue. Greedy offensive bastard rabbit (OBR). Shelly Kramer are you paying attention? This TLA is dedicated to you.

So why would anyone do this? Easy money I guess.

How easy?

Go do a Google search the Offensive Bastard Rabbit’s name. See what comes up. I’m getting happy pills for 8 of the top 10 results searching on Jay Oh En En One.

The lesson here is obvious: spam works. If spam didn’t work, people wouldn’t do it.
